I picked up this gun the other day and was wondering if anyone can let me know how to find the model number. 24" barrel, clip, OAL 42" bolt action. Any gun sites I can go to?

Possibly a Model 310. Look on the upper receiver forward of the bolt between the dovetails, the model number should be there (it is on mine).

2- there is no model # on the barrel that I can see

Remove the stock and look on the underside of the barrel.
It might be stamped there?
