C mag is crimped instead of riveted

So i bought 2 c product defesnse mags. the steel 30 rounders. but this isnt riveted. instead it has been crimped or crushed to stop the follower.

The problem is that when it got crimped, the metal bent outwards, now it doesnt slide freely in my mag well.

anyone else have this problem?

I had a few pistol mags that were like that, I sanded the raised edges and spraybombed them.

Ended up buying a bunch of RRA mags instead to replace them though.
