C no 7 Enfield extractor

Hello all:

I just picked up 4 x C No 7 - .22LR enfield bolt heads with 303 extractors (buyer was honest and let me know before I made the purchase).

Anyway I seem to remember that the 22LR extractors were made from modified 303 extractors. Can anyone confirm this and if this is true does anyone know what was done?

Also does anyone have blueprints for the 22 cal extractors?

C No7 extractor is a unique part. Was never made from a 303 extractor so that's bad info.

Very much doubt you'll find a machinist's drawing of any part. Lots of pictures on-line. None of which will help. Try Western Gun parts, Epps, then Gunparts, Stateside. Marstar is out of stock, but they wanted $20 each for 'em.

You're best to put an Ad in the Exchange section. Companies list above don't have CNo 7 bolt parts. There was somebody on EE selling bolt heads complete not long ago. You may want to do a search in EE and check past listings. Ron
