The C Products is just their .223 mag converted to .50 Beowulf. Crappy job trying to mill the follower.

I think you have another brand of magazines in mind, not C-Products.

With the circular cutout at the front of the magazine, it's pretty obvious that these are manufactured specifically for the .50 Beowulf cartridge.

The cutout looks to have been made before the anti-friction coating was applied. So for me at least that's proof they are newly manufactured, and not just .223 mags they just had lying around that they decided to cut, crimp, and laser etch to market for .50 Beo.

The other "made in Canada" ones on the other hand, definitely look like converted .223 magazines and are sketchy as f@ck. Drilled out spot welds and epoxied back together, engraved .50 Beo, and then repainted. Hopefully they don't get the whole class of magazines banned in the future.

I wouldn't take those ones if they were given to me. From one dealer picture they even look like used mags, they're so scratched up. Someone's going to get their pee-pee slapped.
