An American friend has asked me to try to find a C2 scope that was the type issued with some FALs. I don't know anything about scopes, and was wondering if someone would PM me with some kind of background information on these things. Thank you. David

There were C2 scopes that are Weaver K model scopes in the 12x and 10x with adjustable objective and fine crosshairs in the ones I have seen. There could be more power ranges I do not know about. Flea bay usually has a few for sale. Do not know about the military C2.

Lietz c1 scope

Your friend is probably referring to the scope used on the FN C1 A1 Canadian Forces issue FAL it is a very rare and expensive item and when complete with the carrying case ( can) scope caps body cover mount, screw driver and mount protector will fetch prices in the $1200 or more catagory. There is one available at The Calgary Shooting Center @ $1800. They were used on the C1 but I had seen them in the 70's mounted on C2's for competition. Photos can be seen in Collector Grade publications book by Blake Stevens called The North American FAL. g2.
