Hey Guys,

I assume this cleaning kit is still a current issue item for the C7/C8 rifles but
Is the pouch still used or is there a Cadpat replacement?

Does any one know of a source for the 82 pattern pouch? I assume it's still being used in the system as I have yet to see any out there surplus. All the other 82 pattern webbing is out there except this one.

Pouch has been in the surplus market for some years (empty). Ones I have seen are as new. I have not seen one in cadpat. Anyone else?
 
Cleaning kits used to be kept in the butt of the c7a1 rifle. Those cleaning kits, which aren't cadpat, are presently issued to soldiers issued then c7a2 rifle and c8 series rifles due to them having carbine stocks and no room to store the kit. If there are cadpat ones then they are aftermarket from cp gear or something.
 
I have never seen the pouch in the surplus market. My assumption was that the pouch is still in use due to the fact the cleaning kit can no longer be stored in the butt as originally designed.

Any one know any stores that have the pouches for sale?
