Can you get a Colt C7CT as a civilian? Something tells me no...

Actually, I'll bet it costs a good few grand to get... curiosity.

Is this a real pic of the C7CT? Can anyone provide details? Want to build a copy. Acquired a float tube already.

There are ton of C7CT threads here where a number of us share are lack of enthusiasm for the system.

C7CT's where issued like the below (some had A2 grips and some had the Aborto Grip).

The picture above was with a very old KAC suppressor.
The ones that came with the guns where a Finnish Can (via Canadian Tactical IIRC).

They where furnished with the S&B 3-12 scope - but with the Euro turn elevation so if you where used to a Leupold, Unertl etc you would go the wrong way for corrections to range...
Now I think all CF S&B's are like that now (someone correct me its been a long long time) so that issue is moot.

Thanks for the info. Did a search and didn't find much for specs. What is on the barrel? Same sleeve device talked about in the C8 sleeve thread? Barrel length and profile?

Anybody know where I can find a stock like that?

barrel is 4150CMV non chrome lined
Its a heavier than hell barrel -- IIRC a .850 gas block (with gas cuttoff) and heavier under the handguards.

No Simon Sleeve, the barrel is just damn thick.

C77 was not allowed to be used -- there was a small supply of Mk262 Mod0 at the time for it.

Some genius had determined that C77 would damage the bore.

Most rack grade C7's shot better, and a much easier CT gun was simply adding a FF handguard to a C7A1/A2, scoping it and stealing the KAC trigger out a C7CT and shooting the C7 (not that any units in Edmonton or Petawawa every did that ;) )

Fail.
