quick question, has anyone taken off the standard birdcage that came on their surplus upper? will aftermarket flash hiders/comps like the smith vortex fit on the skinny barrel?
There is a shoulder on the muzzle so that the constant torque washer/muzzle device have something to stop against on the barrel... so yes, a smith vortex or other flash hider should fit.
