Does anyone else have experience with the CAA RONI kit (specifically for the Beretta 92 FS). I am wondering if the pistol is held tight, or if it has some play. And if so, does this affect accuracy. Mine showed up today, and it does have some play. However I am sure that on a range day it will still be more accurate and have faster target acquisition than without the kit.

Any help or comments are appreciated.

I don't have a rail on my beretta, but the kit is not designed for one with a rail. I will figure out how to tighten it up, Maybe by adding some 3M stick in foams around the part that grips the frame.

I noticed some play in the G1 version ( for glock mind you) they make a g2 for glock now that has two new bolts that cross the two halves and tighten it up real nice. Not sure if they will do the same for 92fs soon too...

Uh, I don't know that this is a good idea Daver. If something goes wrong with the carbine while firing be aware where your front hand is...

My advise is to get the proper kit that fits your firearm.

It is the correct kit, I will try to post pics to clearly show the problem.

Correction, I sorted out the problem by fitting peel and stick loop end Velcro ( as opposed the the hook end) to the parts of the Roni that grip the frame of the pistol. Snug and no play to speak of any more. Accuracy and target acquisition are great... Very happy with my new favourite range toy.
