Cabelas coming to Barrie???

Molson Park is the site of a large commercial development called Park Place (200 acres) that has already started being built. I highly doubt Cabelas bought the site but would guess they may be looking at leasing space there.

Either way I would welcome them there. (my wife would disagree with me)

That would be absolutely amazing. I hope they compete with bass pro all the time and have price wars :). I'll be broke for the rest of my life if it comes. I'll have lots of nice toys though :)

Bring it on, its only five minutes walk from home, lost the use of Molson Park last year as a place to run my Dobermann due to inpending building work, but if the plan goes ahead and they build a Cabelas on the site i'll be a very happy man.
 
Screw cabelas. I hate American BS. I'll still buy from them. Because I love the selection. I wish we had a Canadian superstore like that! Canada rules. My sister lives in th U.S. but I won't go there. This new american election is a joke. But what is new. I wonder why? Yet another reason, the world hates americans. Go figure................ Bring on the heat. LOL!
 
Wish they could be closer to TO but I'd still drive to Barrie to shop at Cabelas. I'm presently on a boycott with BPS for punking me out of a $4100 boat.
 
since they are delaying the Qbec store and there is nothing on there website about the barrie store i dont belive it

but i heard this from a dumbass that worked at bps about 5 months ago but he told me that the one in Qbec was open already..... is it a prerequisite to be a retard to work at bps
 
If they built within sight and easy access of Hwy 400 North, it would never shut down.

I remember how busy Epps was in the fall when we went by.

I don't think they have their website up to date, as they bought out SIR mailorder in Winnipeg and there is no mention of that on their site. I really don't believe the rumour of a Barrie store either, but it would be nice.
