Cabelas has some powder in stock

Look at this horse shyte.
I guess I might get it send to the Nanaimo store but I will have to kill half a day to get it.
I've had powder shipped many times and the extra dangerous goods charge is something like $20? Not sure why they have to use this particular courier they named.
This for three pounds.

A lot of people are cancelling their orders once they find out the shipping fee using day and Ross, leaving it all for us locals. Varget pops up a few times a day for the last few days

Went thru this last fall. Powder can only be shipped UPS.
UPS obviously doesn't ship to your location, so Day and Ross will basically hotshot it to you.
I ended up getting it shipped to Calgary 3.5 hrs away. They only hold it for a short period then "ship it back".

Since CanPar stopped shipping firearms related goods it's been a nightmare to get powder and ammo!

I'm in Victoria and UPS ships here just fine. I don't know what Cabelas problem is and I can't be bothered to try and convince them otherwise.
 
I'll be able to pick it up local, but yeah, they wanted an extra $240 to ship 5lbs powder to me using Day & Ross when UPS would have worked fine...
 
Do you guys have this issue when calling in an order, or just trying to do it online?

My experience with their call center staff has always been surprisingly positive.
