I had this scope on my marlin guide gun. It was very very accurate at 100 yards. And good on a 5x5 inch plate at 200 ( never missed). Shooting was in prone, off hand, and bench. Of course with leverevolution ammo. Mine broke last time out hunting. I bumped it (not hard) while helping my buddy drag a deer to the truck. I think for the price its a good scope. But because its on the cheap side you cant expect it to last for decades. I should say that the glass was clear, field of view was good and I had no problem with it fogging up. I hunt coastal BC so that says something! I'm going to try skinner peep sights, but if I was going to put a scope back on my 1895 it would be the lever evolution scope. Hope this helps.
