Cabela's No Glock Stuff

I just bought a new S&W M&P9 from P&D and right on my bill of sale it's stamped in red "FINAL SALE, ALL MANUFACTURERS DEFECTS MUST BE DEALT WITH THRU DISTRIBUTOR WARRANTY". So what 's the difference between them and Cabela's? I wouldn't have a problem buying any firearm from them (Cabela's).

Well considering the sticker on the case they sell the gun in says there is a 30 day refund or replacement policy if it is defective and that they will assist to send the gun to the manufacturer if its past 30 days is quite important. Want a picture of it?

No, I believe you but then in your case it totally B.S. that they won't refund you your money or replace the gun. But, going back to my P&D bill of sale, if something goes wrong with the M&P, I'm on my own. I didn't see the red stamp on it until I got home.

roger that. i know how you feel. fortunately this website is a fountain of info. they helped me out a ton getting me on track to talk to the right people and my problem seems to be on the right track, despite cabela's efforts to give me a 1200$ paper weight. they'll be receiving some nice letter from me at some point in time, and with any luck a BBB inquiry at some point.

I wondering what's the reason that Cabela's doesn't sell any Glock pistols or parts. They seem to sell everything else. Almost everyone owns or wants one. You would think that they would sell tons of them.

Probably because so many of us really can't stand the Glock, or any company that sells them, or even the smell of the product.

I was shopping for Glock in April and happened to be at Cabelas looking at shotguns. I asked the guy behind the desk why they didn't have any Glocks and he said he didn't know but that they were ordering a bunch of Gen 4 models. This was in April. Not sure what's going on but I don't see a reason why they wouldn't have them. I guess more business for WSS since they do sell Glocks and are right down the road.
