Was just looking on their website and noticed some price increases...
Remington bucket $120 Winchester M22 $90/1000 Geeez ??
I have some stashed but probably not enough...

Their prices on MFS 7.62x54R are ridiculous as well. Last time I was at the Winnipeg store I found that basically everything was either at the going rate, or higher. No deals to be had.

As the old ammo stocks are being replaced in stores , the prices are sky rocketing.....the dollar goes down , the prices go up....

You may want to be cautious when looking at the "Bucket 'o' Ammo" sold at Cabelas and elsewhere.

I was about to order a couple of buckets online at Cabelas, and decided to read the reviews of the product on their website.

Most reviews spoke of cartridges that were very dirty in the bucket (greasy and bits of metal), plus loose bullets that wobbled in the cases and impeded proper feeding into the chamber when used in a semi-auto.

I don't recall for sure what brand of ammo it was, but think it was Remington, and I don't know if the manufacturer is selling them in bulk because they're seconds, but you may wish to check it out in advance.

Stay safe.

Ive shot quite a bit of it and never had abnormal bulk ammo issues. Nothing like youve described and no worse then any other.

I've had no problems or complaints with bucket rounds in any of my semiauto's, as for prices locally a mom an pop store are best followed very closely by wholesale sports surprisingly.
