Cabela's scopes?

Hey guys, just got the new Cabela's/Sir catalog and my friend was looking at Cabela's brand scopes. Have you heard anything about them as quality goes? Who builds them and where? Thanks for any help.

I asked about these when I was at the e. grand forks, mn location last week... the fella told me they were made by nikon for cabela's.

I'd be interested in reviews also. the price seems right, as long as they aren't total crap.

are they the pineridge scopes? i have read that they are hit or miss. the ones that work work, and the ones that don't, well, ya. though i have read people just bring them back for another one until they finally get a gooder. i always thought places never took back scopes after they were mounted though. i guess its different if its not for a refund, but an exchange of the same scope.
oh ya, i got the catalog 2 days or so ago too, but totally forgot to look through it. i totally should have brought it to work today.

Cabela's will return ANYTHING, customer service is top notch.

Thanks for the reply guys, I guess that time will tell us more. If they are made by Nikon, that would definitely be a +. Maybe someone who reads the American forums could shed a little more light on the issue...
