Cadex and mlok question

Apparently the dual, lite and field tactical chassis are not m lok forends instead use the 10/32 screws.
Does anybody know if there are any other weights that may fit this forend. Cadex sells some but they are out of stock. Can I use MDT weights or is there another company? Are the holes in forend not same size as m lok.
Is there anybody out there that have any ideas. The slots on field tactical looks like m lok are they different dimensions? Can I get away in using the m loks and just having gaps between the weights?

The old slots are big enough that likely only one side of the T nut would catch on the back side. What I did was just buy one of the new style competition tubes with Mlok. You could probably also drill clearance holes through a weight to bolt up using 10-32 screws.
