Cadex Chassis Systems: Post your pics, questions and answers here!

I have a savage Cadex field. It doesn't work well with the Bushnell HDMR. I have to use rings that are 1.25inches high to clear the rail. A shorter rail would have meant I could use lower rings.

Yep, me too. I ran into the same problem you seem to have. Only difference is I am gonna just machine off a bit of the front end of the rail so I don't have to resort to silly high rings.

Thanks, I was surprised I had to almost completely disassemble it to get to the bolt heads to attach the receiver to the chassis.
I might machine down the rail as well.

Did you guys contact Cadex Defence about any issues? I had a few things I needed to get sorted out regarding some screws and mounting hardware and Cadex responded to my e-mail within minutes and resolved my problems. Talk about awesome customer service.
 
wow... love the look of the Dual Strike. But I gotta agree with the guy who stated that it seems stupid to not mount the optic right on a rifles receiver! I still love my AICS /Rem 722 .308! Absolutely love her! LOL.... Thinking bout getting some Viper Skins though in Tan color. My stock is the olive drab color now.

Yeah, I think it's been covered already, you're quoting a guy who was stating the wrong info. The scope sits in ur rings which clamp on to the rail which ia directly bolted to the receiver, not the chassis.
