Cadex Chassis Systems: Post your pics, questions and answers here!

Nice pics guys!

I see a little confusion concerning the Bushnell 3.5-21 line. There are currently 3 offerings: DMR, HDMR, and ERS.

DMR/HDMR came out in late 2011, ERS (I believe) came out in early 2013. DMR/HDMR are identical except for the reticles. The DMR line has mildot and G2DMR. The HDMR ("H" means Horus) has two separate Horus reticles to choose from (Horus H-59 or TRMR2).

The ERS is slightly different in that it has a zero stop, 10 mil/rev turret (as opposed to 5 mil), G2DMR reticle option only, two different body colors to choose from (black and a metallic-like FDE), slightly different markings on the scope itself, and a slightly increased weight -- not that it matters since both offerings are over 2 lbs.

There is no "HDMR" with the G2DMR reticle.

I just picked up a DMR as a temporary scope until another offering becomes available.. just waiting for some rings!

Alright, back to Cadex stuff!

Interesting to see the XLR chassis on the Cadex chassis. I've got an XLR Carbon for my Savage 10TR and it's a great system. Just wish that XLR had buttstock that was adjustable without tools like on my Cadex.

Yea I think I might be the first to put the two together, I haven't seen anyone els with it set up like that. You can get a decent folding mech from XLR which I will get eventually. I don't care much about adjusting stuff on the go just because its not very often other shooters are shooting my stuff and for a long range rig I want things to stay the same and consistent.

In your description, you said you had medium Vortex rings, but they look like the High rings?

Probably going to get a Bushnell G2DMR on either my Cadex or my XLR, and I'm just exploring ring options right now. I'll probably put B/C flippy caps on it so I'll probably need just a bit more clearance.

Thanks Ben. I am lucky enough to have a local CADEX dealer nearby. I was talking to him (and checking out some samples) yesterday, and he wasn't sure, but he will be following up with CADEX tomorrow.

Thank you Patrice for following up on this. (I just sent you an email before I saw this reply.) Unfortunately, I don't have a rifle to send you yet. I suppose as a "Plan B", I could always just get a rifle that you do currently make a chassis for.

I was on Cadex's website buying a verticle grip for my SA20/C7A2 build when I found a must have for anyone with the chassis:
