Cadex Chassis Systems: Post your pics, questions and answers here!

You've requested it and we listened.

This is our new FIELD OT chassis designed to fit all Remington clone actions. As you can see there's no top rail on the action. It's an Open Top model that allows the customer to fit regular scope bases, integrated top rail or different MOA top rail.

This new chassis can adapt to any custom actions that duplicate the Remington 700 style and respect the 1.35" diameter and footprint such as:

Kelby's Atlas-Atlas long
and more...

The new Field OT is available with the PRS stock for a MSRP of 1099.95 $

also available in OT Core if you only need the chassis itself for MSRP of 699.95 $

any one know if this is available in LEFT hand long action. I messaged Patrice, the internet can be faster sometimes.

Thank you
Trevor

I noticed the CADEX website lists the Barnard SM as an option. Just curious what's required to make that work? Is a spacer used to fill the gap between the recoil lug and the inlet in the stock since the SM is longer than a Rem 700 SA? Has anyone tried this that could speak to the reliability of cycling rounds using the magazine etc? I have a Barnard SM on the way, and no stock for it yet, so I've been looking around.

I'm referring specifically to the Field OT model.

Would it be possible to get a version like the Field OT, but with the top of the hand guard open so that the scope could be mounted closer to the barrel? Possibly with a folding option?

Sorta, but with the collapsible stock. There would likely need to be some part of the tube left for mechanical strength. But, thats fine. It would be like having a nightvision mount.

Having the scope so high off the barrel is something a lot of people don't like about chassis systems. And they want the flexibility of using AR stocks. Many like Magpul PRS. I like collapsible stocks like the MFT Battlelink on rifles that will be shot off hand because I like a shorted LOP when shooting positions.

Part of the tube like this? You could then still mount NV if you could get a picatinny out on top there. I hear ya about the AR stock, but I am done chopping up photos for the night! :)

I was on Cadex's website buying a verticle grip for my SA20/C7A2 build when I found a must have for anyone with the chassis:

Pretty nice t-shirt, can't wait to get it :)

Support your Canadian Firearms Companies!

Only problem with that is the dang shipping is more than the shirt+tax!

In USA it cost 5.25$ to ship a package all over the USA. In Canada the same package cost between 11.63$ to almost 14.00$ depending on the province... I'll let you draw your own conclusion if it's justified or not. The same shirt with UPS or FedEx is 30$ :(

Cadex can control the price of the t-shirt but not the price of the transport. We dropped the price of the t-shirt from 14.95$ to 9.95$ so we've done the maximum on our side to keep the price point low. We make no profit at all on these shirts, this is a lost leader item.

Haha, no worries, Apprilla Man is organizing a group buy for a bunch of us in the GVRD area, illae, you in?

Hi Patrice,

An esthetic question for you.

How does the Field Strike (Tikka T3) in OD green matches with the Magpul PRS OD green color?
