Here are some other new toys for you guys !!!

Cadex is proud to launch its new TACTICAL Series chassis designed with Law Enforcement sniper team needs in mind.

These 2 new chassis models combine the full rail capability requested for Law Enforcement purpose and the light weight feature of our Field Series main frame.

It features a full length 20 MOA dual low profile top rail, a fully adjustable PRS stock, a rugged aluminum detachable base, night vision device capability and the versatility to install accessory rails at 3, 6 and 9 O'clock.

You like to shoot long range on weekends?

With a MSRP price as low as 1555.95$ this chassis is the best bang for your buck chassis on the market.

Still can't afford it? Take down your stock and grip on your AR carbine and reuse them on the TACTICAL CORE model. Now it's as cheap as 1212.95$ MSRP.

Call your local dealer ;)

How long has your wait been? Have they told you a expected delivery date?

Apparently I need to be in the guns business. Why is it every stock company, premium bullet company, premium gun company etc is like a 2 month wait?
One shot is waiting for an ETA from cadex :-(

We got a few of the chassis last year from Cadex to equip our guns for a big movie, and after playing with them for a while, I sorta fell in love with it.
Here's my personal toy built on one of them.
It's a .308 win. Built on a Borden tube gun action. Bbl lenght 20.5 inches

I was just about to order and XLR stock today and I stumbled on this thread. Before reading this, I thought they only made really high end ($2k or more) stocks that were out of my price range.

I just ordered a Cadex core stock instead and I am very much looking forward it. I called Cadex today for an ETA and they said the lead times are long due to the magpul parts, but the core had a much quicker lead time. I forgot they were in Quebec and I accidentally called after hours due to the time zones, and the owner of the company was still there manning the phones. He was a very nice fellow to chat with.

It is great to see a Canadian company doing so well in such a competitive industry.

Mounted my new Leupold Mark 4 on my Cadex 700, pic intensive:

Is it just me or is this line pricey.I was looking at the MDT for my Tikka which is much cheaper.

No your right, they run higher than most of the other chassis systems, having handled and used most of the chassis it's my opinion the the price is justified. Don't take this as me saying that the MDT and others aren't great systems because they are and you can't go wrong with them. Another great choice to consider for the tikka is the KRG W3 chassis.

Hmmm that green does look really good.

I placed my order last night for the core model and went with a tan stock. but now I am second guessing myself. Anodized green is so light sensitive when it comes to photos, and sometimes it looks terrible (nearly lime green) in certain photos under the wrong light. But Mr Donut's pics look great.

Well it depends. I was originally looking at an AI AX chassis which runs around $1450 or so. I bought a Cadex Urban Strike for considerably less. The top of the line Cadex is considerably more expensive but their line straddles a pretty wide price range so they should have something for everyone.

The original MDT is very heavy and kind of difficult to remove the bolt for cleaning. The new MDT is much less expensive but doesn't offer near as many features as something like the Cadex Urban Strike. So none of this is apples-apples comparison but there should be something for everyone.

Thanks! I was thinking the recent pictures I took could have been better. I'm still struggling to learn how to use my camera properly, but sometimes lighting conditions dictate how a photo will turn out. The green is definitely OD in person.

I'm curious as to why people keep bringing up the MDT chassis to compare to the Cadex Strike Dual/Lite, they are two completely different designs. Anyway, as stated earlier, most of the differences were hashed out on the first page. I've held both in my hands, and there IS a difference, haha!

My guess mister is because it is the cheapest after market stock on the market that supports AR parts. That being said, even with my now severely limited funds I still plan on saving up for a Cadex in the next year or so. The thing just looks dead ###y. People need to realize a couple of things with the LSS, one it was built to be cheap! It's not some high quality superbly accurate stock that guarantees sub MOA just with installment - I'm not trying to offend anyone, but no grip, no stock, and severly short fore-end as stated above what you pay for is what you get and the LSS is not a lot again I am not trying to offend anyone I am simply stating what I see. With the Cadex system, you're given a lot of fore-end and a lot of places to mount rails for whatever accessories. These two systems only have a couple of things in common, accept certain AR parts and that is where the similarity ends. To those people who wanna make a true comparison they should be comparing to the TAC-21 which in my opinion and from what I have read is not the be all end all for aftermarket stocks, take that and compare it to say the field core or urban strike now you have a system that is only about 100$ more than the TAC-21 and it already has the grip and stock on it, so after you buy that stuff for your tac-21 it's actually more expensive and it has the problem of encapsolating the bolt so you need to tear down the rifle for cleaning, cupple that with the fact that you don't have nearly the placement for rails as you do with the Cadex and now you have something that is more expensive and with less options, as well as the fact that Cadex has a rep that has been on this thread from the beginning and has been super positive and responsive to requests from everyone involved in my opinion just this thread alone has made me a potential customer when I can afford one. Sorry to rant but I agree with you Mister donut, people are making an unfair comparison I just wanted to make it a little fairer lol.

Good day Miramichier

I hope so! Don't you realize that there's almost as much metal just in our detachable base than in the whole MDT LSS chassis ?

Like anything in this world... you get for what you pay. You can't get the best and expect to pay the least.

There's some important differences between both products that makes them like an apple & orange comparison.

Have a look at this thread from the beginning, I think that it's been pretty well explained what critical features you're paying for.

P.S.: Don't repeat that to anyone but Cadex is coming out soon with 5 models of Tikka T3 chassis.

Stay tuned ;) hihihi

Alright, I will bite. What mag system will be offered for the Tikka chassis when they become available? I emailed with you about a chassis for an off brand custom action and it won't work…for now was your response and that is fine, I understand how a business has to go where the money is, I do the exact same thing in my business. But, my shooting partner has a Tikka T3 Sporter and it shoots as good or better than my custom that cost me 3X more. I could vert easily be swayed into a Tikka, especially now that you say there is a Cadex Chassis offering in the works. Put me down for one, I will take it!

Only the MDT Tac-21 ISN'T cheaper... Price it out, sure it seems cheaper, but once you buy a stock to attach to it and the grip, it is in the same price range.. The MDT LSS is cheaper, but as indicated, there is ALOT less metal and fab work...

patrice picard, any word on when some of these glorious stock are shipping? I think I read your back log was growing due to magpul's back order.

First thing, I would suggest that you contact your favorite dealer and place an order with them. Some of our dealers even sells cheaper than us at the factory. It might sound weird, but I try my best not to sell to any individual. Cadex needs its dealers and I try to only sell to individuals that had a bad experience with their local dealer or that for whatever reasons do not want to buy from any dealer.

If you contact me directly I'll provide you all info you need to make sure you make the good product choice for your needs, but I'll try to refer you to a dealer. Dealers are more customer service oriented than me alone here at the office that also need to take care of the Law Enforcement and Military division.

Support your local or favorite dealer... if they can't offer the level of customer service that you expect, then contact me and we'll make sure that you'll shoot a Cadex product.

I was lazy and just ordered off your website the other day. I guess I should have shopped around a bit, but it's all good.

It's a bit too early to say at 100% since the R&D Department is just starting to work on it, but my guess is that it will be an Accurate-Mag steel body magazine, not the plastic Tikka mag.

Hahaha

It's too early, I don't even have a MSRP price to announce.

Thanks for your understanding guys and please continue to buy Canadian when they prove that they can make it just as good or better than the rest of the planet.

I understand Patrice and thanks for supporting your dealers! I see it far too often where a manufacturer will set up dealers and then undercut them and sell direct. That is not a good business practice in my opinion. Thanks for all the information here, I will be watching for the T3 Chassis, tell your R&D guys to hurry up!

Can you post pics of your build when you get yours? In fact, it would be cool if all you guys posted pics of your chassis builds here. Always nice to see someone else’s flavour :)

Absolutely. ETA on my core stock is a little ways out, but I will be sure to post pictures here. And I did make the change on my order from tan to OD.

Patrice:

I ordered a core stock without accessories, but that rubberized grip on your duel strike looks very comfy. Are those grips sold separately by any chance?

If not, I'll probably just order up a hogue rubberized AR grip, as I have had a good experience with their products in the past.

Ergo grip deluxe tacitcal model without the duck bill (I think...), or you can just hack saw it off. Nicest AR grip I've ever seen.
