I remember similar stories about ten years ago about Canadian rifles (PGW if memory serves) ending up in the hands of the Houthis in Yemen. Lots of ways for it to happen.

Why do you think they ended there contract with the CAF, in fact it’s my understanding that the CAF was a PIA to deal with. Good luck building a defence industry in Canada.

If you watch any recent videos of ISIS they’re rocking Colt M4’s with Acog’s, Hummve’s, and scads of U.S MRAP’s…

This isn’t the fault of CADEX.

I remember a U.S plumber caught some flak for his old F250 being run as a technical in Syria - it still had the name of his plumbing company on the side of it.

It’d be funny to see the Liberal campaign bus used to do horrible, anti-democratic stuff, crushing freedom, and suspending the rights of the people … oh wait… it has. 🤔

If Cadex moved there business to the US who could blame them, they would make more money and not have to deal with this type of BS. If this country wants to maintain its standard of living, it better start learning to "turn the other cheek" or stops at the food bank will be a normal thing for canadians.

If it was true then it's one bright light in a dark period of Western history!
The houthi incident was well documented as a combat loss. The Saudi troops were killed or captured and their equipment was taken by the houthis. Knowing what that was like for our company back then, I only wish the best for Cadex now that they're under the microscope.

Today's journalists haven't got an effing clue. Can you imagine if there was social media during WWII? The amount of equipment captured and used by opposing sides would have made their faces melt.

Eh I don’t think even the most craven propagandists are suggesting Cadex is boxing up sniper systems and sending them to Moscow.
I am afraid there is a group of our population who genuinely believes a company can and should control who buys their products and how they use it. Nobody should listen to these mini tyrants.
Cadex has nothing to apologize for.

When I see enemies placing confidence in our systems, that just makes me want it more

In October 2013, the owner of Mark-1 Plumbing in Texas traded in a Ford F-250 pickup truck. A little over a year later, a photo was shared online showing the truck with the company's decals and an anti-aircraft gun in the bed, apparently in the hands of the jihadist group Ansar al-Deen Front. The company faced significant backlash, including death threats and harassment, despite having no knowledge of how the vehicle ended up overseas.
