Hi guys I finally got around to making a review video on a Cadex Kraken, not a lot of info on these rifles out there so I though I'd make a video about one. Let me know what you think

Thanks for the video. I was surprised the caliber conversion took those steps and required the tools. The desert tech one is 5 torx bits and change bolt/barrel/mag.

Cadex is willing to put it's Multi-Caliber shoulder to shoulder against ANY multi-caliber platforms on the market, the gun will do the talking.

This quick-detachable barrel system offers the least shift of POI of the industry (0.1 mil) while others are coming back to zero within only 1 MOA. So our system is second to none when it comes to maintain the same POI from takedown/reassembly of the same barrel... and this is by far the most important feature of this type of rifles. There's no the point about using a multi-caliber if you need to reset your turrets each and every time you reinstall a barrel because the last zero is off by 1MOA (i.e. 15" at 1500y). The whole idea is not to have to re-zero your rifle each and every single time.

Even in the military, barrel changes are always done prior to mission, not in the field, so tooling isn't important as no one will ever carry 3 different barrels, magazines and ammo in a back pack while deployed.

I haven't tried it personally on the Cadex but I know that the desert tech definitely has some change from removing the barrel and reinstalling.

Maybe one day I will get a chance to shoot a Kraken

Kraken is 15.2 pounds:sok2 Not carrying that for 10miles even if it can shoot the wings off a fly on the moon.

With a backpack sling you'd be surprised, I've carried it on hunts with a tripod and on hunts having the confidence to take a shot 500 yds means a lot to me. the pack out sucks though, definitely not a sheep gun though lol
