Cadex strike nuke

Any of you guys own one of these? I played with just a bare stock the other day and it was extremely comfortable. I’ve owned a bravo before but the nuke felt much better. Just looking for other people’s experiences with them.
 
Nuke Positives:

+ Nuke has better colors
+ Bravo plastic halves are always misaligned, very important
+ Buttpad height adjustment is standard on Nuke, optional extra on Bravo (on bravo it is tooless though)
+ Canadian made


Nuke Negatives:

- nuke evo is 20% more money than bravo.
- bravo has optional spigots, arca and enclosed forend, nuke does not
- nuke is 2.2 lbs more weight (almost double the weight of bravo), how can you make 5.1 lbs plastic stock is beyond me
- bravo can have straight or hook bottom buttstock, nuke bottom is pretty much bean bug only profile
- bravo is known and widely used, a lot of positive feedback, first nuke was a flop, nuke evo is too new and too rare
 
The Strike Nuke does look like it would be a very comfortable option - lots of sculpting in the grip area, etc.

For PRS stuff I would take the Bravo though as it has that nice flat fore end whereas the Nuke as that hump near the mag well.

I think for a mostly prone gun though the Nuke looks like a solid option.

To be fair to Cadex, this is not the case. See the picture (not in 100% same scale)

You can see that both Nuke and Bravo has a width for about action screw plus a bit of material around. Bravo visually looks more straight cause of the horizontal lines, while Nuke has the angular theme going on. Realistically speaking if you align the chamber gas port on both and imagine action screw going in it would actually be practically the same amount of hump required. After that they both are going straight and flat. The angle of the hump on both is also quite close. The only meaningful difference would be balance point, since bravo should be more front heavy compared to nuke. As nuke is significantly heavier and bravo has all plastic very light butt section.

Just saying.
 
Just checked out the website for each and looks like the nuke is just shy of 1lb heavier, the nuke is growing on me, I’ll have to go play with it again.
 
We sell both and both are excellent options. The new 2019 Strike Nuke is a huge improvement on the 2018 model. While Cadex does not have ARCA rails for it, we do!

The Bravo certainly has the edge in the after market accessories. The Bravo also comes in more configurations like the Howa, Tikka T3/T1X

Overall it is great to see two reasonably priced options for aftermarket stocks for the R700.
 
Huge improvement like what? Apart from the rubber grip panels and price going down they look identical to me.
 
Was Cadex able to get white to work with the strike nuke? I recall they tried but it didn’t work out. I would consider one. I think it would make a good upgrade for a 5R gen 2.
