Cadex trigger problems

Reserved my Cadex rifle back in Jan and I really like the feel of the trigger, but the pull started to seem inconsistent. At the range yesterday I was having to really pull hard on it to get it to fire. After cleaning it with lighter fluid it stared to feel like new again but that didn't last long as the trigger wouldn't reset and #### the bolt, unless I manual pulled the trigger back then run the bolt back. So I put a jewel in from another rifle and it wouldn't #### the bolt either. I adjusted the sear ingagement and so far so good. I like the jewel trigger but I like the wider trigger bow on the Cadex trigger so I would like to put it back in but I can't adjust the sear on the Cadex trigger as it voids my warranty. Has anyone else had this problem?

I'd say you are better off getting in touch with Cadex. They will make it right again.

I alread contacted Patrice but I haven't heard from him. I'm feeling I'm on my own with this one so I thought I'd try and see if someone else had the same problem.

Agreed, I'm sure he will be contacting you shortly. They just had the Cansec show in Ottawa so I bet he's busier than usual but I have no doubt he will take care of you.

Just got off the phone with Patrice and all is well. He agreed to take back the trigger and replace it for an new one, I'm impressed.

Thought I should conclude the store, sorry it's taking so long. Patrice and I had a good talk over the phone. I told him I was heading to Ottawa the next day and wanted to swing over to St Jean and drop off the Cadex and they could ship it back when it was done. Instead, Patrice said drop off your rifle we'll give you a tour of the plant, fix the rifle and give me a t-shirt.
You guys weren't kidding when you said they would make things right. Even the owner Serge Dextraze took the time to speak with me.
There are very few things you buy in life and know you made the best choice and a Cadex rifle is one of those things.
