I want to have a rifle stock done up in CADPAT, but none of these Yankees seem to know what it is. Anyone know where I can get a piece of fabric that is really close to the real thing?

Printing a pic off the internet isn't the most reliable way to match colors... And a lot of the knock-off seem to have too much brown in them.

They have Cerakote, Duracoat and Gunkote. Any advice on which colors to use from which manufacturer?

Here is an online digi-pattern generator (the drop down menu has CADPAT at the bottom...)- Just keep trying, until you get the effect you're looking for.

Thanks guy, I've found a lot of stuff on the web. I'm looking for a piece of fabric though. I want the pattern (pixel size, flow) and colors to be perfect though, so I want to send a piece of fabric along.

Here's a good website on the various digital camouflage patterns:

and another with pics of various rifles painted in digital cam.

Nice pain jobs. The painting itself is excellent, but you can see what I was mentioning about the pattern being off. They do not match up with the MARPAT or CADPAT patterns behind them. They look like OD green stocks with small blobs of the other colors applied to them randomly. There isn't a flow of the blobs. While it looks really cool and all, it won't break up the outline of the rifle the way it should. The CADPAT paint job also has far too much brown pattern in it.

The patterns should look more like this:

Notice how the pattern flows and that no one color stands out as the base color.

Yeah, I'm picky. But if I'm going to spend the money, I want it done right.
