I picked up a m-27 & a Turk 1903 this month & both are CAI marked on the barrel. Did Century sell these guns here or where they brought up from the States?

Century used to have a warehouse in Montreal back in the 1980s and even printed their catalogue as an insert to Outdoor Canada magazine at one point. They had all kinds of interesting firearms and I recall seeing lots of Finn Mosins and other interesting items. Back in the day it also seemed as though they were the main suppliers of military surplus sold at LeBaron in Toronto.

Both are possibilities a both happened. Imports used to be easy from the US AND CAI also sold import marked guns out of Montreal.

I bought a P14 Enfield from them Century has "CAI ST. A. VT" stamped on the bbl behind the front sight. This stands for St.Albans, Vermont where I believe they used to have a warehouse. This was a new replacement bbl with right hand twist rifling. Saw one on the EE a while ago.

Until about '95-'97 Century had a healthy head office and warehouse in St-Laurent, Mtl. They still have their "warehouse" in St-Albans Vt, and as far as I know it's (at least one of) their gunsmithing facilities.

Century Arms International aka International Firearms was a Canadian company based in Montreal with a warehouse in St-Albans, Vermont. The warehouse in Montreal and the one in Vermont traded inventories all the time to keep up with orders. When all the new Gunlaws started in the early 90's, they moved the Headquarters to Boca Raton, Florida and closed down the main warehouse and Headquarters in Montreal. All items at the Montreal warehouse were transfered to the Vermont warehouse. The St-Albans warehouse was closed a few years ago and they are now located in Georgia, Vermont.
