Caldwell chronograph

Anyone have experince with these? Thought I’d verify some of my loads. Thanks for advice if purchasing worthwhile.

I’ve got the 1st gen. It works fine. It was cheap. The newest version is supposed to be better, but double the price.

Have the 1st gen as well, have had it for a couple years now and seen a fair bit of use with no problems. Picked it up at the time as it had decent reviews and, as mentioned, it was cheap!

Perfect for verifying power factor in pistol loads.

Have one. Works pretty good. 22-250's at 3700+ will give 300fps spread so either my loads suck or it doesnt like small fast bullets.

Have one. Can't complain. Main selling point is it's cheap.

I have a 1st generation. Only been able to use it a couple of times. Bought it more as a gadget/toy to play with. I am not a micro reloader. I like the idea of a wireless one, but this one will do for me.

I have the deluxe gen 1. Works well enough as far as I can tell. It even took a x39 round and still seems to work just fine...

Thanks guys for the feedback. Cabela’s has the basic model on sale for less than $100 in Calgary as part of their extended Sale so going to pick one up!
