I'm spending most of my time before my upcoming Wyoming antelope hunt practicing from prone as this is what the outfitter said is the position he tries to get most guys in.
For sitting I've found that one of these fancy fieldpods allow me be really really accurate. Certainly not as convenient as sticks which unravel quickly. I guess this takes about 20-30 seconds more fiddling to get setup but it is practically as solid as a benchrest.
Have any of you guys used it in the field? What did you think? Too much hassle to carry it?
