Calgary, AB - Homestead Range question

Hello,

This is my first post on this site, and it may very well belong in a different forum, but here goes...Is the Homestead Range (i.e. the "Sibbald Flats" range) near Calgary still open to everyone? Last time I went, there was no regulation to speak of (no attendants/officials, etc.). Is it a members-only range now?

Still public range down at the end of the road. No controls. It can be a bit of a sheeit show on weekends. Last time I was out there some Morons decided to start shooting my gong from 5 lanes over... They put three rounds into the legs of the stand and totally destroyed it. Before I knew what happened they booked it out of there. Idiots.

Be careful and be assertive. Don't let idiots sit and mess with their rifles while you're downriver setting targets. 'it's okay - its not loaded' doesnt cut it for me.
