Calgary & area outdoor rifle/pistol ranges?

Google Alberta Provincial Rifle Association for info on both those.
'Homestead' is a name for a cluster of ranges at Sibbald Flats, about 45 minutes west of the city, some of which are members-only and one of which is a free, 100 yards, non-restricted only, open-to-the-public range run by the APRA. It's free, which is good, but draws the usual percentage of idiots, so the place is generally a garbage dump. If you go there, please take along a garbage bag and clean up some of the mess; there's a dumpster at the parking lot. Take the Trans-Canada west, past Hwy 22, head south on Hwy 68 and watch for the signs.

Look up the Buffalo Target Shooters Association - they're a member of the APRA and they recently opened up a SWEET private 100m/200m rifle range, 3 pistol bays, and a "jungle run" multipurpose bay (a range with trees) out in Homestead.
