Calgary Newbie Looking to for IPDA info!

Hey yall,

Im from calgary and im planning on starting IDPA with a friend of mine however we have no idea how to start. Could someone direct us to some information?

At the moment hes running a sig Xfive DA/SA and im running a CZ SP01 shadow. Are these approved?

I'm not sure about the Sig but for your CZ Shadow your probably going to need a set of Dennis Marschal grips in order to get the weight down. What else do you need to know?

For shooting IDPA in the Calgary area contact Mike Johnson at the ATHL. His contact information is located on the IDPA Canada website under "Provincial Sections. I am sure Mike will be happy to answer any of your questions. The ATHL are a great bunch of folks and I am equally sure you will be made most welcome.
