Calgary Shooting Center K31s

Hi,

I'm wondering if anyone local has been to Calgary shooting center to check out their K31s. Is there a significant difference in condition between the ones selling for $425 and the select grade selling for $600?

I spoke over the phone with them a month ago. The $425 are your typical k31s. Beat up, not 100% Blueing etc. The $600 ones are best 2 out of three. Either great bore and metal or great metal and wood or great bore and wood etc. They will describe the rifle over the phone in their hands to you if you wish. They were great to deal with over the phone and took the time to answer my questions. A+ service in my books. Prices seem to be going up. If you are looking for a mint one I'd keep an eye on the EE for one as well.

There where a couple mint k31s at the Chilliwack gun show today. O ly cost you $1800 with a diopeter

Best bet is to go down to CSC and ask to go through their lot of $425 K31's and hand select your own. That way you can select the best one for you.

How do people know if it came from a police station , I have one that's pretty nice , looks just about perfect other than aging on the stock finish for example

Thanks guys. I'm looking for a shooter so a few dentd here and there is ok. Sadly I'm not in Calgary so an in person visit is out of the question.
