Does anybody know if SIG, or anyone else, makes a conversion kit that lets you turn 1911-22 into a 1911-45 (or 9mm). I know there are plenty of kits out there that convert your 1911 to a .22 but I find that this is normally the more expensive option (paid $1000 for my p226-22 and the 9mm conversion kit vs. $1300 the other way around).

The Sig 1911-22 is technically a GSG. They can't be converted to big bore. The frame just wont handle the stress. There's also the issue that a genuine 1911 barrel wont fit. Check EE. There's a bunch of 1911's coming and going at decent prices that you wont have to break the bank.
