Called Marlin Firearms yesterday and spoke with customer service. I asked them about the manufacture of the CB 45/70 1895 Lever gun with 26 inch barrel.
Yes we are still doing production runs periodicaly, if you ever see one dont wait get yur credit card out and buy it immediatly
The rep said that this is a very popular rifle and they can not produce enough of them to supply the demand. My local gun emporium in Prince George has had them on order for over 2 years. Good luck getting one up here. I saw a newer CB and it was well made with nice fit and finish and shot like a dream with precision and accuracy, the action was as smooth as silk. You cant always get what you want.
