Hi folks,

Simply put, I’ve got a bug for that rifle and I wanted to know if other owners would recommend it.

I miss banging steel with my M14 and I feel like this one is close enough to somewhat replicate the mystique a bit.

Most reviews say about 1.5-2 MOA, which seems low for savages typical accuracy. Is this what you are experiencing as well?

I cannot comment on the scout model specifically, but have had my hands on at least 4x Savage 110 new model style accufit models.
As I offer scope mounting and initial sight ins for any work buddies, and the 110s have been popular among hunters and budget limited shooters.

All I can say I used to be a huge Savage fan, and the new 110s have all disappointed me.
Savage just ain’t what they used to be, in my humble opinion.

By the way just picked up a 2014 Savage 10 FCP SR for a lightweight hunter build.
Before screwing off barrel I noted good factory accuracy which I have known Savage to produce.
Waiting on my CF prefit barrel for a lightweight/midrange target/hunter hybrid in 6.5x47L.

I have the 11 in stainless, shoots great but didn't love all the reloads I brought with me Fri. 17 of 21 fired no problem but the other 4 wouldnt let me close the bolt. Mags are expensive at 95 per 10 round but it's a great lightweight rifle. Once it's sighted in, it will bang metal all day,
