Toothbrush, cut up some old pajamas, can of g96 or your other favorite clean/lube product, bamboo chop stick with one end cut to a chisel point. The money you saved not buying an armourers wrench and other assorted tidbits you can spend on ammo.

All depends on how you're going to run it, I suppose. If you are going to do three gun and/or run n' gun games - yeah you might want to pick up some spare parts and tools. If all you do is basic riflery then no - ya don't need a thing other than ammo and mags. Get at least 6. 10 would be better. Spend money on them too, and avoid the cheapies. Other than that - shoot and be happy. Life is good for AR guys.
