Calling Bears

Not at all, but there was comment to the effect that calling a black bear could bring in Grizz or a cougar etc - not applicable to him, so not something he has to "worry about". That was the only point I was trying to make.

Always the chance you'll call in another hunter. Done that with elk before.

Fawn bleats/distress calls can really bring bears in, but that comes with the proviso that they'll come in fast and aggressively, so you know, be aware of what you're starting.

We have had some big boars come in to our cow calls while hunting moose.

Others around her have reported the same thing.
