Hey guys. I purchased a EXPS2-0 and G33 Magnifier from a member here. Ad stated it was bnib, but when I received it, it was not new. Has some scratches on both units, and mounting plates show signs of use. Also both units came with everything put together. Both seem to be functioning fine, and I think I paid a fair price for them, so no biggie on the scratches.
What I'm concerned about is the lens on the G33 magnifier. Both of the lens were smudged when I received it, so I used a glass cleaning towel and lens cleaner to wipe them clean. I notice one side of the lens is still smudged/cloudy, but it's on the inside of the lens, and the other side has some spots that look like water spots, also on the inside as well. I understand that these are enclosed systems with gas filled inside, so I cannot take it apart to clean. Any other owners have the same issue? I have yet to check if the cloudy smudge affects visibility as it's overcast, but from using it indoors, it seems ok.
