Calling for Ontario Surplus Tag

Is anybody getting through?
I've been calling the MNR for a Surplus Tag since 5:30 and all I get is a busy signal. I put the number on speed dial and must have called them at least 200 times within the last two hours (it's 7:30 now).
Nothing....

No answer.

Check the regs, I think after Aug 15 it's no longer call in- pick up at Service Ontario only

According to the MNR moose draw result message, surplus tags are (were...) available on a first-come first-served basis by calling 1-800-363-3730 on Aug. 17th between 5:30-9:00 PM EST.

That is for additional deer tags, not surplus moose tags...

called in this am and I guess tags are only given out last night on the phone, if not taken by 9pm they are not given out, tossed in the garbage, mnr at work

I also called them today to find out what happened last night. The answer was "Too many hunters were calling and the lines were busy. All tags are gone."
Yeah... BS!
