Thanks guys. That scaley paint job is pretty simple to do.
Like camo, you layer the colours with proper masking and voila, 3D scaley skin look.
I used the anodizing metallic paint from Cdn tire. Black is your base, then the 'metal' base coat over appropriate masking, red colour coat (translucent), then a clear top coat to keep things from wearing too fast.
