Calls for coyotes

I was asked by a farmer today if I could come out and do some coyote hunting, they were losing cattle and neighbor losing some of his sheep. After doing some research here on the gunnutz site, I learned there was a "pup in distress" call. I have never heard or seen any of these calls before. I was wondering if anyone could direct me as where to get one in Ontario. Any help would be appericated.

Go to BassPro Shop in Vaughan, Ontario. I was just there 3 weeks ago and purchased a bunch of coyote calls and video's.

Alternatively you can find free .mp3 sound tracks on how to call coyotes.

Try an 'animal in distress' call. AKA dying rabbit. Wiley is an opportunistic fellow.

If your looking for an electronic call and don't want to spend a ton of cash check out www.varmintal.com. I made one of the homemade calls and it seems to work pretty good. If you want to spend lots of cash I think the foxpro would be the way to go. (I HAD to opt for the redneck version)

randy anderson Ki-yi sound works good. I use the lil dog howler and make pup distress on that, its not hard really.

I second that! Randy ANderson calls are the best and most widely available that I know of. I have his Hot Dog, Ki-yi, and Lil' Dog and have used them with great succes for the last several years. They are reasonably priced and easy to use too.
