camp Assault gun?

All these "camp defense" gun threads.....

Since you are away from camp at least as long as you are in camp,

.....you might also need a "camp assault" gun, because something might have moved into your camp while you were away hunting.... and you want possession of your camp back!

What do you use now?

Good question. This topic needs some serious discussion. I'm inclined to think an "assault rifle", also known as an "AR" (or so I've read) would be the obvious choice.

Any *good* hunter sets a secure perimeter *before* leaving camp. Strategically placed claymores, Constantina wire, autonomous 12 gauges, and poisoned rations....don't they?
