There was one on offer in the EE recently, hardly used and asking around $1k if I recall correctly. I think it was in B.C. and I remember thinking it sounded like a good deal if you were close enough to go get it, but shipping costs might make it worth ordering one from Cabela's if it's what your really want.

We looked at this a few months ago. I believe they stopped selling it due to issues with the seams coming apart. We went with a wall tent, and I am glad we did so.
Please do your research, as I do not want to give wrong info.

I have never owned or used an Alaknak nor their similarly built Bighorn so I haven't experienced any issues with build quality, I only remarked on their existence and apparent availability. If they stopped selling them because of defects it would explain why they are in the catalogues but someone has been told by Cabela's they don't sell them.
