Campbell River Grouse

Hey everyone, I'm new to the area and am wondering if anyone knows where the grouse are?? I've been out a bunch of times and not even seen one!!! Any help would be apreciated!!

I think the wet spring killed off the chicks this year. I've been into the mountains a few times this year and have only seen two grouse total. One of those days we had three good bird dogs working the area and they didn't even hit scent.

Seems like its a down year.

That sucks! although I have seen several rabbits and shot one too, but they are not as good as grouse.
