Can a Rem 700 P in 223 be Rechamber to 22-250?

Sure, but it would be easier and cheaper to buy a 700p in 308 and put a 22-250 barrel on it. The 223 conversion would require a new bolt body to be fitted, or alterations to the bolt face

as well as replacing the mag box, follower and spring.....sell it and buy a VS or VSSF in 22-250....

If you want more horse power from your .223, why not just get it reamed for an AI chamber?

They pretty much duplicate the 22/250 anyways, plus you get to keep the faster twist bbl.

Yup! My 223 Ackley gets well over 3000 fps with the 75 gr A-Max in my cheap Stevens 200 with the rechambered factory 22" barrel.

Your Remington should do just as well.

Hi Ted.....what kind of powder are you using in your .223AI with those 75gr. V-Max's ?..........:)

I have started looking at the 223AI and in my search on the internet for info on this cartridge I have come across the need to turn the barrel back .004" to allow for proper head spacing especially during fire forming of the cases.

Just reaming the chamber isn't correct.

Have any of you 223AI guys had this done or did you just get the chamber reamed?

the barrel is usually taken back one full turn to line up the stamping and then rechambered...if you're not fussy about the location of the stamping less than a full turn will work.
