Like the title says, I am thinking of replacing my Weatherby V2 with a Troy Pump Action. What's your guys thoughts?

I will still have my .300 win mag as a back up.

Never heard of a Troy pump. I have Remington 7600 pump rifles. They are awesome for hunting however they are not necessarily a good target rifle due to the type of action. Hard to keep the same POI when you have to lift the rifle off of the rest to cycle the action. Other than that, they are awesome!!

I'd be happy tweeking one of these units in .338 Federal or any cal based on the .308 case. These rifles shoot well & don't foul up the action like an AR does. Ye don't have to chase brass with these puppies either.:)
