If you like skiing and shooting I don't see why not. But unless you train hard and shoot well I'd suggest that you're going to be at some disadvantage against the younger and more fit. But if you don't mind not being on the podium and just want to do it for giggles and exercise then SURE. No reason at all why not.
Nothing stopping you from Skiing around on crown land with a .22 slung over your back. I'd imagine the regs and training for a place like say, the Nordic Centre are costly and time consuming.
Competitvely? Missed the boat.Another one of those sports that if you don't get in young, HIGHLY highly unlikely you can compete. The shooting part is easy... it's the skiing that's insane.
More like 50 sittups in 1 minute followed by 50 push up in 1 min. Your arms and legs are very sore if you are not used to it. But this is my idea of fun.next time you are at the range, do 50 sit ups in 2 minutes, then take aim. Not as easy as you think.
As topic. Is it possible for a 30+ guy like me get into the sports of biathlon?
