Calling all gun tech gurus and dark wizards of metal..

I want a bullpup in x39

Can a T97, Tavor/x95, M17s or RDB be converted to 7.62x39?

Anybody out there do this work? Anybody out there with evil sorcery capable of making a bolt and barrel and gas system mods?

Please post and if you are such a demi-god, please pm me with prices etc.

When I had a t97 I thought about a conversion, it looks feasible. I'm not a machinist or gunsmith vs any means bit like playing around on the lathe. The only hang up was trying to figure out how to machine the barrel notch for the pin without a mill

Thanks for sharing. Anybody else see this as doable or played around with this?

I would guess the tavor would be the easiest. Just grab a conversion kit and get a new barrel made to fit it, the bolt could be tricky, but I’m sure someone out there could do it. At least with the tavor conversions are already available, seems like new territory for most of the others. But really the M43 would have been awesome, why Kel-Tec didn’t move forward on that one is beyond me. But you never know they seem to be catching up on RDB production, maybe they will start on the M43 next. There was certainly a lot of people who wanted one.

I would be all over a Keltec M43, I was disappointed to see them get dropped.

I have a mostly complete blown up T97 that I intend to attempt reviving into a x39 rock and lock AK mag conversion on to with the help of my machinist buddy, don't really know if it is possible yet but we are hopeful...

Hoping to re-establish that com-bloc QBZ-95 feel the T97 should have come with.
