As mentioned J. Allen Enterprises.(JAE-700) closed their doors. No longer in business. Good news is, IIRC, MDT bought the rights to their design, maybe even their equipment. I can’t remember exactly.

If you want a polymer stock that gives the ergonomics without the added accuracy you can get the ProMag Archangel (AA700A) stock for the Remington 700 for about $350.

Thank you guys

food for thought

just sold my Dasher to a friend - so planning a new tactical build.

Going to be another Dasher

On the list for the new BAT bumble bee - cannot believe how light and stiff it is.

1 in 8 again (this is my 3rd dasher)

just undecided on the stock.

Love the simplicity of the ALLEN but since they have closed i think I will give it a miss.

from what I am planning you get see I love the stability so a chassis is a must.

Any experience on Cadex strike nuke EVO ?

both very affordable

personally cadex seems more finished ...

that’s the fun part isn’t it , trying to decide

nearly there

from experience I tend to adapt to stock with a slant on the palm swell , probably due to the way I lean in and load up the bipod.

I won’t be doing PRS like you you young guys

it will be a belly rifle 99% of the time hence that tilt is what I am looking for and what drawn me to the origin picture and started my search

I have 2 accuracy international outside Canada and they are both from when they first came out in the late 80’s early 90’s , really cannot fault them.

we are living in bless times now

MDT is now making the J Allen chassis, I believe they will be releasing them for sale sometime this year, but I'm not clear on the exact timeline.

The JAE is an amazing chassis, I have two. It's one of the most refined chassis' out there, very well thought out and is supported by a good array of accessories. Commonly shooters will say the JAE chassis is the most comfortable chassis, and I agree with that statement.

There's no chassis in 2021 that I would replace my JAE's with. None. Personally I feel like all other chassis lack in comparison to the JAE, but that is my personal opinion.

The only real big downside to the JAE is its cost. When JAE was still a business, the chassis were $$$. JAE was a small company, and the chassis is obvious quality - higher quality then most anything out there, hence the cost. I'm not sure what MDT's cost structure for this chassis is going to be - they are a bigger company, and they may make "refinements" to the design for easier manufacturing. This could make the price go down.

If you want affordability and performance from a chassis, don't overlook the KRG Bravo. It really punches above its weight class.

From their website, this might help eliminate one or more from the comparison:

“Backbone”:
Full length aluminum backbone from the action to the tip of the forend

well if there are MDT people here join in

show us the new Allen chassis ...

don’t worry the Russians are not on this forum

If one goes back to the Allen stock picture I posted. The angle of the wrist is so relax , I can see no tension at all.

Thank you boys

have looked into j Allen chassis in detail

wow I am sold

So many unique features -

Definitely will plumb for the reincarnation no matter the cost

even the AX will struggle to provide this kind of support for the barrel action platform

perhaps brilliant designer but a terrible businessman

thank you

this build will be uber

Wait for MDT to finalize the tooling for the MDT/JAE Chassis.

The MDT version is on my radar and just hoping they will not change anything on the design and would be compatible with the original JAE in parts and accessories. I have the first gen chassis and it will be a keeper.
