I have a K98 with sanded stock and it looks a bit bland. Normal K98 have all sorts numbers, symbols and letters stamped and it looks better.

One can buy one punch for USD55 on ebay but it needs probably several different ones... so is too expensive for that...

Does anybody have puches to do that? Ideally in BC LM. Stamps dont have to be correct for the rifle, its just for looks (no worries its a composite gun with no collectors value).

Replacing the stock is not an option at the moment ...

cheers

Matt

Disclaimer:

This will NOT be done to deceive people into thinking this is a marked or matching gun!!!!!! It is very obvious that this is not an original gun and that the numbers dont match!

A Gunsmith with these tools would be suspect unless he was a restorer.Hey did you try Nick at Vulcan Guns? He's a builder/restorer.

I understand it looks fishy, but the stock is very obviously sanded and the action does not have markings. So even a blind mole would not be fooled into thinking thats a matching gun.

I will give Vulcan a call! thanks :)
